It all begins with two visionaries, Simon and Cheryl Blackburn. They bring together the perfect combination of expertise and passion to deliver this dream and so much more. Simon is the dreamer, adventurer, scientist, safari guide and innovative storyteller and Cheryl who never rests until it is better for her guests, her family and her community.
Their philosophy, and what drives everything they do, is to run sustainable businesses, that uphold the highest standards of integrity, even if no one is looking. The proof of this is that their spectacular lodge, Three Tree Hill, was the first establishment to be certified as Fair Trade in KwaZulu-Natal. It is this dedication to always doing good for yourself, others and the world, that also drives Ocean Africa Safari. As well as their shared lived expertise as pioneering, ocean-loving, adventurers.
